Summer Office Hours - June 17-Aug 26
The MSS Front Office will operate on a summer schedule from June 17 through August 26.
We may also close for other periods of time depending on the floor waxing schedule. Please call ahead during office hours or check the website for any changes before coming in.
Registration-Financial Aid Reminders
If you are applying for Financial Aid through FOCE or Parish Assistance, you are required to have your application and FACTS completed with all required documentation by March 30. MSS Young Authors Night and Talent Show

Begin the evening browsing our Young Authors Fair and perhaps you’ll meet the next Jack London or Suzanne Collins! Then stay and be entertained by our top performers. You’re always in for a treat with our Biennial Talent Show!
BOX TOPS BONANZA IS BACK!
Each student is asked to collect 75 Box Tops using the collection sheets sent home in Tuesday folders. If we reach our goal, we’ll get a visit from The Cow Ice Cream Truck! Have additional Box Tops?
Any family who turns in additional filled sheets will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
All sheets MUST be returned by May 17th to qualify and be counted!
Our Lenten Journey Continues

This is a time of prayer, fasting and abstinence, and almsgiving. We will be working with the students to create a meaningful Lenten journey for them at school and we invite you to be a part of it. Learn to Cricut! Mrs. Myers will offer an introduction to the new Cricut die-cut machine and the latest technology added to the Art Department. Wednesday, March 27, 3:30-4:00 pm.

IOWA Assessments Begin April 3rd
Please help your children do well on the standardized assessment and do their best to attend school each day during the test period. While standardized test scores are not the sole measure of a student’s progress, they are helpful in gauging their readiness compared to all students in their grade-level nationwide. Please refer to the enclosed flier for tips and strategies to help your student!
Report Cards come home March 19th!
PowerSchool will be inaccessible to parents until after the 19th. You may schedule individual conferences with your child's teacher if necessary.
