Back to School Parent Night - September 26, 6:30 PM

Our annual Parent Night will be held on Thursday, September 26 at 6:30pm. We will begin in the gym. We urge all parents and guardians to attend this important meeting. You will have the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher(s) and learn about the class/subject expectations. *Please note, there is not time to address individual student concerns. Please contact the teacher privately with any questions or concerns about your child.

Registration for the school band is now open! We'd love to grow our numbers... register by October 15th to ensure your spot! If cost is a hardship, please contact Ms. Kilty to discuss options.

The 12th Annual Angels Above Alumni Golf Tournament to benefit the Jack and Shirley Little Scholarship Fund at MSS is looking for a few more golfers. Come on out for a day of fun in support of MSS!

Important Re-Registration and Enrollment Information

New tuition rates for 2019-2020:
$5,495 Pre-K Full Day through Grade 8

$3,495 Pre-K Half-Day

Registration Fee: $175/student if paid by 5/15 ($250/student after 5/15)

Bus: $500/one-way and $800/two-way

After School Care fees remain the same. Parent Portal will open soon to register!

Multiple opportunities for Financial Assistance!

Fill out your FACTS financial aid application NOW. The sooner you apply, the greater your chances of receiving the aid you need:

BOOST Scholarships for MD residents will open for application on or about March 1st. BOOST awards are made by the State in addition to any tuition assistance received through MSS or parishes.

New this year: 10% tuition discount for Active Duty and Active Reserve Military! Proof of active service (active duty ID card or active duty orders) required. Contact Finance for more information!

MSS Young Authors Night and Talent Show

March 27, 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Begin the evening browsing our Young Authors Fair and perhaps you’ll meet the next Jack London or Suzanne Collins! Then stay and be entertained by our top performers. You’re always in for a treat with our Biennial Talent Show!


VIRTUS has replaced STAND as required Child Protection Training. If you plan to volunteer in class or chaperone field trips, you MUST be VIRTUS-certified. Visit to register for an account. At this time, we have two confirmed cases of flu in the MSS community.  In an effort to contain any outbreak, please keep your child at home if your student is exhibiting flu symptoms.  Remember, as stated in the handbook, your child must be free of fever, vomiting or diarrhea for a full 24 hours before they can be re-admitted to class.  Additionally, if your child is on antibiotics, they should be taken for a full 24 hours before returning to class. 

In an effort to protect children who may be immuno-compromised, if your child is diagnosed with the flu, please call the office and let us know.
