Join us for Mother-Son Glow Bowling on May 4th. 5:30-8:30p, at Taneytown Bowl and Grill. Tickets are $10 and include shoe rental, slice of pizza, drink, & 2 hours of bowling. Lanes are first-come, first-pick, so get there early! Send in payment for tickets ASAP.
$175/child (max of $525/family). After May 16th, fees increase to $250/child (max of $750/family). Pay your fees via SchoolAdmin or by check to MSS.

Our annual carnival is happening SOON and we need volunteers! Come on out and be a part of a 35-year tradition and help us keep this wonderful and much beloved event going well into the next generation. Thu, May 2 at 7pm.

Maryland 529 Presentation - Jan 24, 2019 at 7:00p at MSS (Snow Date: Feb 7th)
Did you know you can use your 529 savings plan (formerly the College Savings Plan of Maryland) to pay your MSS tuition and receive a tax benefit? Join us for an informational session led by a representation from the state program. Open to the public, so please invite your friends & family! This is rescheduled from Nov’s original date.
Thanks to everyone who donated items toward our December Service Project for SHIP! We collected over 1,000 items for Frederick County students in need!
Student Council Elections
We will hold elections for officers on Friday, January 11th. Class representatives will be selected by Wednesday, January 16.
We will be hosting our Geography Bee for students in Gr. 4—8 on January 18, at 2:00 PM. Each class will have a representative competing and the winner will be eligible to try out for he State of Maryland Geography Bee.

Stella Maris is currently accepting registrations for a variety of grief support programs and camps, starting this month. Spots are available in the following programs:
