Just before Christmas, our Student Council took goodies over to the retired Sisters at the Villa St. Michael. This is just one of the many service projects our students participate in. Look for our upcoming Catholic Schools Week project, Care for the Community Collection, and for the SmART Masters Art Club's outreach project, Caitlin's Smiles!

A Note from the Principal’s Desk…
In the spring of 2019, Mother Seton School was awarded a grant from the Maryland State Department of Education Nonpublic Aging School Program Safety Improvements Program. Using the funds from this grant, new door locks, cameras at each entrance, and a security alarm system were installed over the Christmas holiday break. The new door locks are keyless and can be deactivated, or activated, at any time.
The camera system is able to monitor all who enter and exit Mother Seton School. Camera footage is available for 30 days and can be viewed only by school personnel or law enforcement. The security system works in coordination with the door locks and is also active on windows near entrance and exit points.
I believe these security upgrades will help to keep our students, faculty, and staff safe during the school day, and will also help protect the school when school is not in session.
I would like to thank our Accounting Manager, Albert Nastasi, for applying for this grant and for applying for an additional safety and security grant for the 2020-2021 school year.
