“Accustom yourself continually to make many acts of love, for they enkindle and melt the soul.”

Saint Teresa of Avila (Feast Day October 15)

Dear Families,

I hope you were able to enjoy the long break this weekend and had a much deserved rest. Everyone has been working hard and I am grateful for the cooperation and patience.

Our first school Mass will take place virtually on Thursday, October 15 at 10:15 AM. If you are able, please join us virtually by visiting Students will receive Communion in their classroom at the conclusion of Mass. We are very thankful to Father Marty for celebrating Mass for us and for providing our community Communion!

Can you believe we are halfway through the first trimester? Interim reports will be sent home with students on October 20. Please review the report with your child and contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions. In addition to the interim report, you will also receive a Performance Series Assessment parent report. This report will give you information regarding the Performance Series Assessment students in grades 1-8 completed last week. Students will take the Performance Series Assessment again this winter and for a final time in the spring.

School will be closed for students on Friday, October 16. All faculty will participate in an Archdiocesan virtual professional day.

But, we’d still like to encourage you to give to our technology program. Proceeds collected will be used to create a new space for expanding the computer lab, as well as help us maintain and upgrade our capabilities. Visit to make your gift!

2020-2021 AOB Income Survey

The AOB will be using a google form survey to collect family income data for the 20-21 school year. This safe and secure electronic income survey will automatically collect a family’s data as they complete the survey and will allow us to collect the number of students eligible for free or reduced fee lunch.

Why is this important? These numbers will not only serve for the Title I submissions, but also can be used for textbook funding, grant requests, and allow for accurate reporting of our free and reduced eligibility at the individual school and county level. EACH FAMILY MUST COMPLETE THE SURVEY regardless of whether you believe you qualify for free or reduced fee lunch or not. Collecting family income data is also a requirement of MSDE and we must do so annually.

Visit to take the survey. The survey takes approximate 2-4 minutes and must be completed by October 15, 2020.
