We had HUGE fun at our first Family Fun Day! The weather held off enough for us to enjoy the outside activities--especially the Dunk Tank! Something about getting to dunk your teachers in water really inspired the kids! Our staff and faculty were such good sports. Thanks to the HSA for the planning and organizing of the event and to everyone who attended. Be sure to check out the HSA thanks below--many, many hands went into making this work!

There will no longer be a print version of the Tuesday News. It will be available on the website each Tuesday evening and you will receive an email notification once it is published. The provider we use will not allow us to manually enter emails that have previously been unsubscribed, so if you have previously unsubscribed from any of our mailings, you will need to re-enter your email address. Also, be sure to add advancement@mothersetonschool to your email client’s contact list so the newsletter isn’t caught in a Spam filter.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE WILL CLOSE AT 3PM ON FRIDAY, MAY 27.
A Message From the Principal
Thank you to the HSA and all volunteers for a great Family Fun Night. The weather was beautiful, and we all had a fun time.
On Thursday, May 26, we will hold a May Crowning and Mass. The Crowning will begin at 9:00 AM and will take place outside. Mass will begin at 9:30 AM in the gym. Please sign up here if you plan on attending the Mass. We want to make sure we have enough seats and are prepared for distributing Communion.
School will be closed on Monday, May 30, for all students, faculty, and staff in observance of Memorial Day. Below is a prayer taken from Catholic Household Blessings and Prayers that I thought you would like to say with your family.
God of power and mercy,
You destroy war and put down earthly pride.
Banish violence from our midst and wipe away our tears,
that we may all deserve to be called your sons
Keep in your mercy those men and women
who have died in the cause of freedom
and bring them safely
Into your kingdom of justice and peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I hope you enjoy the three-day weekend. I look forward to seeing you back in school on Tuesday, May 31.
Have a Blessed Week!
