A Note from the Principal’s Desk…

Dear Parents,

I hope this note finds you and your family healthy and well. We have, at long last, reached the month of May!

For centuries, the Catholic Church has dedicated the entire month of May to honor our Blessed Mother, Mary. Parishes around the world honor Mary with a daily recitation of the Rosary, a special Mary statue, or by displaying a picture of Mary in a prominent spot. These actions aim to serve as a reminder that not only is Mary God’s mother, but she is also our mother. Last week, the Bishops of the United States and Canada consecrated our nations to the care and protection of the Holy Mother. And Pope Francis has composed a prayer to Mary seeking protection during the pandemic. She is truly Mother of our world.

Because we are not experiencing parish life as we normally would, I encourage you to create a space in your home to honor Mary, and to recite the Rosary daily or weekly together with your family or individually. Praying the Rosary is something most, if not all, of our students are familiar with, as it’s a regular part of our faith life at school. But sometimes it helps to have a guide

This Sunday, May 10, we also celebrate and give thanks for all the earthly mothers and mother-like loved ones in our lives. I wish all mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures a Happy Mother’s Day, and pray for their health and happiness.

God Bless you and your families!

Re-Enrollment/Registration News

Last week, the Board of Directors, with the support of the Daughters of Charity, announced a tuition restructuring plan to help alleviate some of the financial responsibilities for our families during this time of crisis. Please read the complete letter for details.

Additionally, the following message was sent to each family. If you did not receive it, please ensure we have your correct address in the database by emailing

  • We already credited each student’s account $150 for the 2020-21 registration fee. If you have not finished registering, the credit will offset the charge when the enrollment is completed.
  • We already credited each student’s account for their May tuition payment. Please email me if you made this payment and wish to have the credit applied to 2020-21.
  • August, September, and October credits and adjustments will be made in similar fashion in the coming month once the financial aid process and enrollment process is completed.
  • Food assistance is available through voucher and/or gift cards for those of you who may be in need. We are finalizing arrangements with Jubilee to make this available directly through the store. Please email us if you need assistance.
  • BOOST deadlines have been extended to June 1st. Please apply asap and let us know when you do. We will contact these families to discuss and assess their financial aid situation.
