Eva Doll (grade 7) and Emma Simmons (grade 8) were celebrated on Saturday, January 14, 2023, for their first-place wins in the Patriot Pen Essay contest. Eva won for Westminster VFW Post #467; Emma won for Emmitsburg VFW Post 6658. Each received certificates and accolades at the VFW District 7 Banquet, held in Westiminster. Well done, girls!
