Dear Families,

I hope you and your children enjoyed a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!

Thank you for your patience and cooperation last week! It has been a busy school year already!

Our first all-school Mass will be held in the gym on Monday, September 9. During this Mass of the Holy Spirit, we will pray for a safe and successful school year for all. After Mass, we will induct our newest National Junior Honor Society members and acknowledge the students who completed the Summer Reading Challenge. We will also recognize the top students in the Summer Math Challenge.

On September 9, band teacher Mr. Brian Smolinski will be on campus to introduce the band program. He will meet with all grade 4-8 students and provide information on how to join the band. Please encourage your child to join. Weekly band lessons will be held at school on Mondays.

Our Home and School Association (HSA) meeting will be held in the library on Tuesday, September 10. I hope you will consider attending. There are many opportunities to make a difference, and your involvement is key to having a successful year.

Have a Blessed Week!

Sincerely,

Kathleen J. Kilty, PhD
