Grandparents and Grand Friends Day

Each September, we welcome our students' grandparents and other special loved ones ("Grand Friends") to join us for a special program and classroom visits. The Home and School Association provides a continental breakfast, while the Advancement team presents a thank you gift and door prizes. Usually, the Kindergarten performs a special song on stage.

We expect more guests than ever this year, pushing the limits of our capacity in the classrooms. To make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, we kindly ask that, where possible, only grandparents and grand-friends attend. We know this might differ from other years, but we want to ensure everyone has plenty of room to enjoy the day. If you are interested in being a part of the day, please reach out to the HSA about volunteer opportunities. (Email hsa@mothersetonschool.org or SIGN UP) We’d love to have your support! We ask that you refrain from going into the classrooms during that portion of the event to avoid overcrowding.

To help everything run smoothly, please let the school office know if your child’s dismissal plans will be different than usual. You can note this on the form below or by calling the front office PRIOR to the day of the event. On the day of the event, please remind your guests to follow our dismissal procedures. The end of the event can be understandably chaotic, so we ask for cooperation to make it as smooth and safe as possible.

As a final reminder, parking on the circle will be reserved for those with handicap placards or permits.
