January 26-31, 2025 - Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community
Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week has been the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, and includes activities and events for all members of the school community.
Jan 26: Celebrating Our Parishes/Spaghetti Dinner - Several parishes will be hosting Catholic Schools Week Masses and inviting Catholic school students to participate. Check with your parish to see what activities they may have planned Whatever faith community you are a part of, have your children wear their MSS uniforms to church today to show their "Seton Spirit"!
After church, join us for the annual HSA Spaghetti Dinner! Enjoy an Italian feast including desserts and drinks. Enter the raffle for an Italian-themed gift basket! Dine in or carry out - serving 12-5pm in the cafeteria. Tickets: $40 (family up to 8 immediate members); $12 (14+); $8 (3-13); Free (2 and under). BUY TICKETS HERE | VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Jan 27: Celebrating Our Community - Student Ambassadors will deliver a special Certificate of Appreciation to our friends in our community whose support we are grateful for.
Jan 28: Celebrating Our Students - Out-of-Uniform Day! Students will enjoy Prayer Partner Bingo with their Prayer Partners and receive a special gift.
Jan 29: Celebrating Our Families - We are grateful for our families choosing MSS! Students will receive no homework and will bring home a special thank you for their parents/guardians.
Jan 30: Celebrating Vocations - Each class will receive the name of a specific person in our local religious community to pray for Middle school will welcome a guest speaker to talk about life in the religious vocation and we will be sharing videos highlighting St. Vincent de Paul and Mother Seton.
Jan 31: Celebrating Our Staff and Faculty - Join us for Mass at 9:30am! We will dismiss at noon (no After School Care) and Faculty and Staff will be treated to an Appreciation Lunch and special gift from the HSA.
