School Projects Updates

Pastor JonPastor Jon Greenstone from Elias Lutheran Church is shown demonstrating planting to MSS Brownie Troop 1379 who came to assist at Mother Seton School's Ground Day. Over 300 donated trees and shrubs create a riparian buffer—reducing erosion—along the sides of the streams that border the school’s property. Species were chosen for appeal to area wildlife and being adaptive to the ecosystem.

Grade 1:  First grade found a “Huge Mushroom” outside their classroom window.  The students looked on the internet for information about mushrooms  and found out that the mushroom was in fact a “Puff Ball”.  Way-to-Go First Grade!!

Middle School:  Their mission Worm Rescue!  The students carefully removed the worms off the playground after a heavy rain and placed them back in the grass where they live!

Grade 3:
The Third Grade students spent time removing trash from their playground at recess!
Way-to-Go Third Grade!

Cafeteria:  We now recycle plastic and aluminum!

All Students of MSS:  All students of MSS now recycle paper in their classrooms!

Kindergarten:  Our Kindergarten students made beautiful window decorations by reusing plastic lids and painting them! Cool!  Way-to-Go Kindergarten!
