Scouting News
On Friday, October 17, the 2nd and 3rd grade Brownies – Troops 81379 and 81089 from Mother Seton School, hosted a Pet Care event at the Catoctin Veterinary Clinic. MSS Girl Scout members, Daisies through Juniors, were invited to attend a behind-the-scenes tour led by Dr. Susan Keane. As the community service part of this event, the girls collected donations of pet food and supplies to be given to the Thurmont Food Bank, which regularly has requests for pet food. The food, treats and supplies collected by the girls were donated in honor of the October 31st birthday of Juliette Gordon Lowe, founder of the Girl Scouts.
