Pentecost, Using Gifts for the Common Good. Will that be YOU?

This week we celebrate the great Feast of Pentecost and the descent of the Holy Spirit upon Jesus’ disciples and us. In I Cor 12:7 Paul tells us, “To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”

How attuned are you and your children to using God’s gifts for the Common Good? Before you respond to this question read the Carnival News panel in today's Tuesday News

Only three families of MSS, Golibart, Bosche, and Stocksdale showed up for Carnival set up. Dads where were you? No family showed up on Thursday for Grounds Night? Where were you? The weeds are still here.

Let’s change this trend and recapture the spirit of preceding generations of parents who had just as many pressures as you do today. They contributed time, sweat, and know-how to numerous activities to make MSS possible not only for their own children, but for all children.
Surely you can do the same.

Lord send out your spirit and renew the face of the earth! Ps 104 vs 30

Sr. JoAnne
