Parish Liaisons Needed
The Advancement Office is organizing volunteers to serve as Liaisons between their parish or church and MSS. Liaisons assist in organizing Hospitality Sunday and Catholic Schools Week. Volunteers scheduled at Frederick parishes through FOCE. In addition, they work with the Advancement Office to keep news about MSS in the bulletins and flyers, etc. posted in their parishes. What is a Parish Liaison?
Parish Liaisons work with the MSS Advancement Office to provide information about MSS to the parishes, and share school information to interested parishioners.  Liaisons are instrumental in reinforcing the materials we send to the churches - ensuring that MSS materials are posted at their individual churches and if possible, posted in the bulletins and newsletters. Parish Liaisons also help to keep the MSS Advancement Office abreast of any church events at which it may be helpful to have us present, or for us to provide school recruitment information, event flyers, and other appropriate materials.

Liaisons also help by attending Hospitality Sundays - usually also attended by a MSS staff person - to distribute materials and answer questions about the school.

We are currently looking to identify non-Catholic Church Liaisons and Family Liaisons to help get the MSS word out in their neighborhoods and communities.
