Howdy, Partner! Looking for the party of the year? Then mark your calendar for Saturday, March 3. Mother Seton School (MSS) is having a Bull Roast!
The Bull Roast is a new Home and School Association (H.S.A.) event for 2012. The H.S.A. is made up of parents and friends who volunteer their time to raise much needed funds for Mother Seton School. In 2011, the H.S.A. was able to donate over $42,000 to support MSS students with new textbooks, learning software, classroom supplies, playground equipment, field trip transportation and much more.
Please support the H.S.A. by purchasing your Bull Roast ticket by February 17. A delicious All-You-Can-Eat Buffet will be served, filled with juicy, flavorful meats, a variety of sides, desert and more. For your entertainment, there will be games of chance, raffles, and a live auction of classroom projects created by our students, including a corn hole set, Adirondack chairs, and more. To top it all off, bring comfy boots for some great music and dancing.
Dinner and games of chance will begin at 7 p.m. and dancing will go on until 11 p.m. Tickets are just $30 per person and can be purchased by contacting Mother Seton School at 301-447-3161. Patrons must be over age 21.

HSA Contributions to MSS
The HSA will be contributing $42,060 to MSS for the coming school year thanks to the hard work and generosity of so many parents who served as event chairs or assisted in any way. Funds will be used to enhance the instructional program, purchase classroom equipment and supplies, and support special events. Thank you to outgoing officers Betsy Santos, Donna Herring, and Susan Hatter for your leadership and to all who actively participated in our MSS Parent Organization.
The Home and School Association (HSA) organizes school fundraising and “fun raising” events. All parents/guardians of currently enrolled students are automatically members of the Home and School Association.
Officers meet monthly. General meetings for all parents/guardians are scheduled twice each year. Financial Reports are provided through Tuesday newsletters and at the general meetings.
All funds raised by H.S.A. are used to support the educational programs and mission of the school.
We need the participation of every family to make our events successful; any time that you can volunteer is greatly appreciated!
Please contact the front office (301-447-3161) for more information on the Home and School Association.
The children depend upon your continued support of H.S.A. Fundraisers!
Our H.S.A. fundraisers support many things that benefit our children; field trips, fans in the classrooms, extra teaching materials, First Eucharist celebration, Graduation celebrations, special programs during the year. Events sponsored by HSA include product sales fundraisers, the Gala, Spaghetti Dinner, Bingo, and Breakfast with Santa. FUNdraisers include, the Fall Festival, Father Daughter Dance, Ince cream socials, and Pizza days. Without the help of our parents in chairing and working on these fundraisers we would not be able to do so much. Thank you for your support!
